Overview

The Royal Trek offers the shortest as well as easy trekking trail. It takes us through the shrub like path along the foothills of Annapurna. The Royal Trek got its name after the visit of Prince Charles and his 90 member team explored this route in the early eighties. Trekkers in this route have an opportunity to gain an assorted experience of people and their culture that is found in this region. This experience makes the Royal Trek a culturally meaningful trek.

The Royal trek commences from Pokhara, the beautiful city of lakes passing through eyecatching hamlets of the Gurung community. One of the major attractions of this trek includes views of the terraced farmland with scenic mountain views of the Annapurna range. The Royal Trek also offers the mesmerising views of Mt. Machhapuchhre and Mt. Langtang. The scenic Begnas lake, about 30 Km from Pokhara city, marks the end of this fabulous trek.

The Royal trek is mostly appropriate for those who have no trekking experience and are restricted to walk/hike longer. This trek not only presents a true picture of the uniqueness but also offers us an opportunity to mingle ourselves with the tribal people who follows the religious and orthodoxy tradition prevailed almost thousand years back. Having been a less crowded trekking route, the Royal Trek offers you an opportunity to learn both natural as well as cultural lifestyle of the people in the region.

Highlights

  • One of the shortest and easy treks
  • Opportunities for meaningful cultural experiences with the diverse mix of people and cultures
  • Stunning views of the eloquently built hillside rice terraces
  • Magnificent views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machapuchhre and Mt. Langtang
  • Scenic view of Begnas

Best time to trek.

The best seasons for trekking to the Royal trek are Autumn (Sept to Dec) and Spring (March to May). The weather is sunny and warm making the views outstanding in these seasons. The weather condition is the primary issue during the Winter (Jan to Feb) season for trekking. The region offers a freezing cold during winter. Just opposite to this, the Royal trek gets affected by monsoons during Summer/ rainy season (June to August). Nevertheless, this time is the appropriate time for a keen and enthusiastic Botanist.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.

It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however.
